WHY THIS ORGANISATION
After the Juvenile Justice Act, 2015 was passed, 2016 saw 38,455 cases with only 224 cases registered under Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children Act), 2015. Twenty-five per cent of all serious violent crimes involved a juvenile offender. This data shows the need for a juvenile care organisation to guide them about their rights and increase awareness of why minors commit crimes. The mental health of children plays a vital role in the reasons for such crimes.

Justitiapsyche wants to bring a change and aim to provide a wholesome environment at detention homes and jails. We want to make sure they are aware of themselves and equipped with the right nurturing environment. We also want to ensure that when released, they become responsible citizens in society and earn a means of livelihood, not to be forced back to committing crimes.

Justitiapsyche is spreading awareness among society about juvenile mental health and juvenile rights. And most importantly, we require support from you all as each of us form a community, and we as a society are highly responsible for the nurturing of minors and what affects them
WHAT WE DO

We provide a range of services, in order to improve the mental health as well as the living conditions of Under-trial prisoners and Juveniles by providing them with mental and legal help. We try to do our bit by raising awareness, lobbying for change as well as publishing articles on the topics of Criminal Justice and Prisoner welfare. Moreover, we also try to provide our beneficiaries with vocational training, so that once released, they can be financially independent and contribute to society.
